Alberto is moving toward the west-southwest near 6 mph but is expected to slow down and meander off the coast of Georgia and South Carolina through Monday. A northeastward acceleration is anticipated Monday night and Tuesday. On this track, the center of Alberto is forecast to remain offshore. A Tropical Storm Watch remains in effect for portions of coastal South Carolina. View More...

Tropical Storm Alberto is drifting toward the South Carolina coast this morning, but it is expected to gradually change direction toward the northeast later today.
