When the Off Topic forum was created it was meant to be an area that the moderators could move posts to that contained or were about topics that they felt did not fit the forum they were posted in.

If the topic is adjusting related it can be posted in the main forums and if the topic is related to community activities but not work related, like hunting then it can be posted in the Community Forums.

If you are looking for a post that you made or replied to in the Off Topic area please check the General Forum or the Community Chat area.
